evening, a guessing contest proving to

terwards a drawing for the boys’ ties
to match the sols' aprons proved most
exciting. Delicious Ices and cakes
were served. The colors were carried

mantels with pink rosebuds intermin

BAND TO ENTERTAIN.
The "Extra-cent-a-day" Band of
the First Presbyterian church will
have one of their quarterly social ses
sions this evening at eight-thirty at
the Telfair building, when the bells
w ill be opened and a most entertain
ing program ca.Vlsd out. For the
benefit of those who do not know be
it said that this band ts furnished,
each member, with a bell in which
they drop each day one penny. These
hells are opened and the result is that
every member without feeling the
contribution, sends for missionary
work three dollars and sixty-five cent*
each year.
