OUR GREAT AUGUST CLEARING SALE
Rousing, ringing economy news from every section and corner of this great store. Enormous quantities of goods remain unsold; stocks
demand immediate, sweeping relief; never before have adverse business conditions contributed so profitably to the public’s advantage. We
hazard the assertion-and defy its refutation-that there is more actual money-saving opportunity to the square inch in this announcement than
in any advertisement ever printed in an Augusta paper.
COME TOMORROW! COME NEXT DAY! Don’t miss the most consequential sale that has happened in years! For lack of space in this
paper, only a part of the bargains can be advertised. DOUBLE PURPLE STAMPS GIVEN ON ALL PURCHASES MADE BEFORE 12 O’CLOCK.
