There is no scarcity of any article in the Grocery line that we hear of. DRY GOODS. —The same remarks are appli cable to our Dry Goods merchants. The stock held by them this season is much heavier than for several years past, and it is well assorted. BACON.—This article has still a downward tendency. The receipts this week have been to a fair extent by w agons, and sales have been report ed to us of about 20,000 lbs at 8c the hog round. FLOUR—Not much enquiry for this article this week, and the only sale reported to us is a lot of about 40 bbls. Country, from store, at ssi per bid. CORN —No change to notice in prices this week, nor have we any large sales to report. \Ve con tinue to quote 65 a 70—the latter price for sacks— sacks included. COFFEE —This arlirle j« looking tip and hold ers have been able to realize a shade on last weeks price?—sales have been reported to us of about 230 £ bags Rio at 81 a 9c. perlb. SUGARS—Fairstock ofNew Orlcarns on hand, and selling by the hhd. at 8 a 9c. according to quality. SALT—Good stock on hand—demand limited. Retailing from stores at 40 to 45c. per bushel ac cording to quantity. THE RIVER—Is in heatable order. Not much Cotton offering to Charleston or Savannah. No change to notice in ihe rate of freights.
