W H.W E hereiofoie labored that my cotton gins
Ja. should be thought superior to any nianufac- ■
uted in Georgia. By offering to the puuhc such j
an article I have been liberally patronized, for I
which 1 feel grt< tub I have warrant*d my line
gins. 1 ba-'e never had one returned as not com- i
ing up to what I prmuis' d. It is known 1 have, j
and do promise that mv gins make superior cut- j
ton. 1 have no truvi lling agents. 1 rely on my
gins telling a better title for me, and one that tvill
be sooner believed than a travelling agent; in I
short, 1 hope to make my gins sell themselves. 1
feel confident in stating’that I have made ralua- !
ble improvements in fine gins, and that 1 shall |
hereafter lurnish an improved gin to anything
heretolorc sold. I would also inf.,: .< citizens of
Warren, Washington, Wilkes, Columbia and
Burke counties, that 1 have purciiasie) Simpson’s
improvement for band machinery, and those who
purchase my gins in the counties named will have I
the use ot the patent tree; the material, when tie- i
sired, will be put on the head block, free ot charge.
It will require a small outlay of material on the
band wheel, which will lie furnished at the lowest
possible rate, and which, when used, reduces the ’
draft loan astonishing extent; the' character of
the improvement is simply by propelling the ma
chinery by a slack band, instead ot a tight one.—
My finest Friction Roller Gins arc sold at ig3 per I
saw.
My phin gins arc also greatly improved, and
; will be sold according to kind, from $2 to £2.5U
per saw. My finest gins have heretofore sold
! higher than other gins, and yet. heretofore, 1
1 have not been able to supply the demand, whilst
| I have been unable to sell but few plain gins.
; Orders or letters, addressed to me at Sparta,
: will be promptly attended to, and gins delivered at
I purchasers’ residences, free of charge.
