See the fol lowing: Gentlemen: —At the desire of Dr. Banning, 1 state with pleasure that after an examination of his Body Brace, I am very favorably impressed with the prospect of its extensive utility. The principle which he has so ingeniously carried out. seems t<> me widely applicable to a large class ot cases of suffering and debility in both sex* s. Sami. Hunky Dickson, M. D. Charleston, Feb 25, 1»47. 1 concur fully in the above. March 2. Jos. P. Jekvly, M. D. From Professor Goddard, of Philadelphia. 1 have examined Dr. Banning's instrument for the relief of weaXness requiring support, and have made practical experiment of tin* same, and am astonished at the results. I have also listened to his views of its applicability to an extended class of diseases, and Inina them to be highly impor tant, and therefore cordially recommend them to the serious consideration of the medical profes sion. Paltl B. Goddaud, V. D. Philadelphia, February 28, Idib. From Professor Mott, of New York, and others. The undersigned haveexamined Dr. Banning’s novel views on the mechanical pathology of many alfecliens nfi he viscera, and believe them to be higblv interesting and worthy the serious atten tion o! the medical profession. The rajiid sale of this article in this community is pretty significant comment upon its \irtues as a medicine. The agent in this city, is constantly receiving testimonials of the--almost incredible cures it is daily effecting in cases where eveiy other medicine |has utterly failed. The case ot Mrs A. M. Phillips, is well known to many ofoer citizens, and wherever known, is justly regarded as one of a most surrising character. Many other cases might he cited, but il is unnecessary; Che medicine lias been tested and is recommended by several physicians in this vicinity, who use it in their practice.™ .\urwich Courie/.
