amount of inuigo, dye neatly three times the
amount dyed in the common way. His instruc

limes the amount of his wages. lie has. at pre
sent, tinder his instruction, a boy, belonging to Ids
employer, whom he has partly taught the art of
dyeing colors most suitable jur the Factory, viz :
Red, Yellow, Brow n. Orange and Bine, and will
make him proficient before the expiration of his
engagement. His work, to he seen at Belleville
Factory, is the best criterion by which to judge Ins
capacity.

ing up to what 1 promised. It is known I have,
anil Jo promise that my gins make superior cot
ton. 1 nave no travelling agents. 1 rely un my
gins telling ft belter l deTur me. and one that will
be Sooner believed than a travelling agent; in
short, 1 hope to make my gins sell themselves - , f
feel confident in B aling that i have made Titlna
ble improvements in fine gins, and that 1 shall
hereafter furnish an improved gin to anvthnig
heretofore sold. I vvouid also inform citizens of
Warren; Washington, Wilkts, Columbia and
Burke counties, that I have purchased Simpson’s
improvement for ianu machinery, and those who
purchase mv gins in the counties named will have
the use ofthe patent free; tlie material, when de
sired. will be put on the head block, free ot charge.
