I GALVANIC RINGS
AND
31 VG N ETIC FLTJ ID .
fH*HIS remarkable invention, which has received ibe
9L almost universal ap[>: ohain n of the medical pro- j
fessiou of Great Britain, comprises an entirely new ap
plication of Galvanism, as n remedial agent, by means of
which tile ordin try Galvanic Bo I cries. Electric and Mag
netic Mntlimes. Ate.,ure entirely dispcn.ed w jili • and the
mysterious powers of Gaivanisni applied witlmm any
: of the objections which arc inseperable from the gene
ral mode now in use. The strong doses, and at irregn
j lar intervals, in which Galvanism is applied by the 31a
aliines. has be n pronounced, after a fair and impaitial
I trial,to be decidedly injcuious, and it was to remedy j
tills radical defect, that tins new application \>as pro- ,
jeeted, which after unceasing toil and pci severance, lias
been brought to its present siate of perlection. The
Galvanic Rings answer all the purposes of the most
expensive Machine®, and in many other respects are
more safe and certain iu accomplishing the desired
effect.
The Galvanic Rings, uied in connection with the
Magnetic Fluid, a e confidently recommended in all
D SOaDF.RS WHICH ARISE FROM AN ENFEEBLED OR UN- j
HEATHY STATE OK THE NERVOUS OR VITAL SYSTEM,and
these complaints are among the must p iinfu l and uni- |
versa! to wiiich we are subject. They arise, without©*-
| caption, from one simple cause —a derangement of the ,
Nervous system—audit was in these cases that other |
i “ remedies” having so often failed, a new agent \va
ereatly n-eiled. which it is confidently believed, has
i been found in the proper aud judicious application of
| Galvanism.
The Galvanic Rings have been used with cntircsuc
cess iu all cases of Rheum atism, acute or chronic, ap
plyinir to the bead, face oi limits Gout, Tic-Dolorei x

Neuralgia, Nervous Tremors, Dizziness of the

i tv. Deficiency of Nervous and Physical Energy, |
and all Nervous Disorders. In cases of confirmed
Dyspepsia. w iiich is simply a nervous derangement of
the digestive organs, they have been found equally .suc
cessful. Their extraordinary effects uppn the system
must he witnessed to be believed, and as a certain pre- j
ventive for lh- pn eedine complaints they arc equal- 1
ly recommended. The Rings arc of different prices, ;
being made of all sizes, and of various to nameiital pat
ter ns, and ran be worn by the most delicate female without
the slightest inconvenience. In fact the sensation is
rather agj ceabie than ollurw ise.
The Galvanic Belts, Bracelets, Bands,
Garters, .Necklaces, <kc.
fn some cases of a very severe character and of long
standing the power us applied by the Galvanic Rings
is not sufficient to arrest the progress of disease and ulti
mately to restore health. Tiie iniproved modification in
tlie Galvan c Belts, Bracelets, &c., entirely reme
dies tnis object ion : any degree of pow m that is required
can readily be obtained, and no complaint which the i
mysterious agent of Gaivanisni can effect will fail to he j
permanently relieved. Tin sc articles are adapted to the |
waist, arms, wrists, linihs. ancles or any' part of ihe body
with perfect convenience. The Galvanic iNeckt.aces
are used with srealer benefit in cases of Bronchitis or
affections of the throat generally ; also in eases of Ner
vous Deafness; and with almost uniform success as a
preventive for Apoplexy, Epileptic F. is, and similar
complaints.
Christie's Fluid.
Istssiied in connection with the Galvanic Rings and
all their modifications. Tins composition has been pro-
I nounced by the French <Jiiri)ji,»i,s to be one oflhe njost
: extraordinary discoveries of modern science. It is hc
' 1 ieved to puss- ss a remarkable power of renderuig the
1 Nerves seiisitive toGalvaoic actioii, by these means
j causing a circulation of the intiueuce at the seat of dir-- i
i ease, and thus giving rapid and permanent relief. No i
i othercomposicion in chemistry is known to produce the
j same etfecior to impart a similar properly lotlie nervous
! system l»y means of an on; ward iocal application. The
Magiietic Fluid eontains nothing capable of theslight
est injury, its application is agreeable, and it is harmless
in itsaction as it is beneficial in its result. Full explana
tions and directions accompany it. The combined in
ventions are, in every way perfectly harmless; they are
at prices within reach of all, and the discoverer only re
quests a fair trial, as a test of their surprising efficacy
and permanent benefit.
Christie’s Galvanic Strengthening Pias

Tbcsearlicics form another valuable application an
tn.. lovtieriou. iuiiiicuce of Galvanism. They arc too
important adjunct to the genuine uacvauic limes h..a
their modifications, acting upon the same principle, but
h iving this advantage of more local applicaiion. They
are confidently recommended as a valuable addition in
the speedy euro of Rheumatism, acute or chronic ; in
all nervous complaints.and as a positive remedy in rases
of Pain and Weakness i the Choi or Back. Pain iu the
Side, in Aslhm oic Vffections, and in Weakness or Op
pression of the Pulmonary Organs. In S|iiuul Com

and they have often been used with cotapiet' success. !
