'B lIIJS remarkable invention, which has received the JL almost universal approbation of the medical pro fession of Groat Britain, comprises an entirely new ap- j plication of Galvanism, as a remedial agent, by means of ! w hicli the ordinary Galvanic Bu lenes. Electric and Map- 1 neiio Machines.&c., are entirely dispensed with, and the mysterious powers of Galvanism applied without any of the objections which are msepcrable from the •. Clie nt) mode now in use. The strong doses, and at irregu lar intervals, in which Galvanism is applied hy the Ma chines, has been pronounced, as era fair and impartial trial.lobe decidedly injualoes, and it was to remedy ihi.- radical defect, that this new application was pro jected, which after unceasintr toil ami perseverance, has been brought to its present state of perfection. The Galvanic Kinds answer all ttie purposes of the most j expensive Machines, and in many other respects arc ! more safe and c khtain in accomplishing the desired effect. The Galvanic Rings, used in connection with the, | Magnetic Fluid a e confidently recon.mended in all ; D SORDERs WHICH ARISE FROM AN ENFEEBLED OR UN HEATHY STATE or THE NERVOUS OR VITAL SYSTEM.aniI these complaints are among tho most painful and uni- j versalto which we are subject. They arise, without ex- ! ception, from one simple cause—a derangement of the \ Nervous system —and it wa- in these cases that other j “ remedies” having so often failed, a now agent was | greatly needed, which u is confidently believed, has been found in the proper and judicious application of j Galvanism. In cases of confirmed Dyspepsia, which is simply a nervous derangement of the digestive organs, they have heotj found equally suc cessful. Their extraordinary effects upon the system must he witnessed :o be believed, and as a certain pre ventive for the preceding complaints they areeqnal lv recommended. The Rings are of different prices, being made of all sizes, and of various ornamental pat ter ns, and can be worn by the most delicate fen i ale w it bout the slightest inconvenience. In some rases of a very severe character and of long i standing, the power as applied by the. Galvanic Rings ; is not sufficient to arre.-lthe progress of disease and nit»- j mutely to restore health. The improved modification in the Galvan c Belts, Bracelets, &c., entirely renjp- | dies this objection ; any degree of powertllat isreqnired can readily be obtained, and no omnplaint which the mysterious agent of Galvanism can effect will fail lobe permanently relieved. Tin se articles are adapted to the j waist, arms, wrists, limbs ancles or any part of ilie body i with perfect convenience. The Galvanic Necklaces I are used with greater benefit in cases of Bronchitis or I affections of the throat generally ; also in cases of Ner vous Deafness; and with almost uniform success as a preventive for Apoplexy, Epileptic Fits, audsimilar complaints. Christie’s Magnetic Fluid. Is issued in connection with the Galvanic Rings.and all their modifications. Tine composition has been pro- ! iionuced by the French Chemist.- to be one of the most extraordinary discoveries of modern science. It is be- j lieved to possess a remarkable power of renoeriiic the Nerves seixsitive toGalvahic actioii, hy these means i ; causing a circulation of the influence at the seat of dis- ! case, and thus giving rapid and permanent relief. No i othercomposition in chemistry is known to produce the same effect or to impart a similar property to the nervous system by means of an outward local application. The Magiietic Fluid e.ontainsnothiiigeapalde of the slight est injury, its application is agreeable, and it is harmless in itsaction as it is beneficial in its result. Full explana tions and directions accompany it. The combined in ventions are in every way perfectly harmless; they are at prices within reach of all, apd the discoverer only re quests a fair trial, as a test of their surprising efficacy and permanent benefit. In Spinal Com plaints; their effects are of the most decided character, and they have often been used with complete success.
