MOBILE, July 3.— Cotton. —The receipts for the week reach only 302 bales, and the exports 4,446 —leaving the stock on hand and on shipboard not ciea. ed yesterday 71,.T 0 bales, against 38,429 a? the same date last season. Our lust review leit the market firm, with a good enquiry, though somewhat irregular in price, middlings rated at 9| alO cents. On Saturday fol lowing, the first day of our commercial week, the 1 market opened with a good enquiry, and sales were made to the extent of 2 » 2500 hales, at about the prices given in our last sheet. On Monday the de- i round was moderate--only 1000 hales changed hands—the day dosing with the market decidedly in favor of buyers. As regards prices, our quotations will show a decline of \ a Ac., and the closing rat#* are very little higher than those current previous to the arrival of the steamer.— The advanced period of the season, the large stock on the market, the total absence of foreign orders, and (he want of shipping facilities, have all contri buted to depress prices, and we cannot expect to see much business doing again until the receipt of later European advices, which may be expected in the course of the ensuing week. The sales have been principally for England, with a portion for France and the North. The market closes fiat with some irregularity in prices. Our figures, however, indicate the closing rates paid. The stock unsold is unusually large for the sea son, being estimated at 15 a 50,000 bales, of which some 15,U0(J may be considered as fairly on the market. LIVERPOOL CLASSIFICATION.
