Sales of LAND by Administrators, Executors or Guar
diaus, are required, by law, to be held on the first Tues
day in the month, between the hours often in the fore
noon and three in the afternoon, at the Court House in
which the property is situate. Notice of those sales
must be given in a public Gazette SIXTY DAYS pre
vious to the day of sale.
Sales of NEGROES must be at Public Auction, on the
first Tuesday of the month, between the usual hours o
pale, at the place of public sales in the county where
the Letters Testamentary, or Administration, or Guar
dianship, may have been granted, first giving SIXTY
DAY’S notice thereof, in one of the public Gazettes o
this State, and at the door of the Court House where
such sales are to beheld.
Notice for the sale of Personal Property must bo given
in like manner FORTY DAYS previous to day of sale.
Notice to the Debtors and Creditors of an Estate must be
published for FORTY DAYS.
Notice that application will be made to the Court of Or
dinary' for leave to sell LAND, must be published for
FOUR MONTHS.
Notice for leave to sell NEGROES, must be published
FOUR MONTHS, before any order absolute can be
given by the Court.
