BROUGHT to Jail in Washington,
yv Wilkes County, on the Ist of October, 1816,
a Negro man who says his name is ROB-
and that he belongs to Dr. Rob
ert W iggins, of Montgomery County, Alabama,
having been sold to him by Mr. B. Warren, of Au
gusta. Said Negro is about 25 years of age, dark
complexion, 5 feet 10 or 11 inches high, and weighs
about 150 lbs.
The owner is notified to come forward, prove
property, pay charges and take him away, or he
will he dealt with as the law directs.
