The Astronomical Calculations by ROB’T
GREER, residing in Butts County.
THIS ALMANAC, arranged and modified ex
pressiy for Georgia, will he published in July
yiext, and will contain, besides the usual Almanac
intelligence, the following new additions, viz ;
The Name and Location of each Post Office in
Georgia.
Tables of Population, showing the White and
Black Population of each County in the State.
Names of Clerks and Sheriffs of each County.
Names of County Towns, and Distances from
jWilledgeville.
The Electoral Returns of each County, for Presi
dent in 1844; and also of the same for Governor, in
1043.
The Electoral Vote of each State for President,
in 1844. The latter tables will prove particularly
valuable during the Presidential campaign of 1848.-
Togethcr with a variety of other matters of equal
interest and importance.
The Almanac will be ready for Delivery in Sep
tember ; but all orders for the same should be made
by the first of June, as the Edition will be limited
to the amount of orders received by that day.

a Negro man who savs his name is ROB«
aT-,ert, and that he belongs to Dr. Rob
ert Wiggins, of Montgomery County, Alabama,
having been sold to him by Mr. B. Warren, of Au
gusta. Said Negro is about £5 years of age, dark
complexion, sfeet 10 or li inches high, and weigh*
about 150 lbs.
The owner is notified to come forward, prove
property, pay charges and take him away, or he
will be dealt with as the law directs.
