■■>■ ,4M mfe r , nM |B Jayne’s A<juc Pills. A SPEEDY AND PERMANENT CURE FOR FEVER AND AGUE, INTERMITTENT FE VER, Ac. In recommending these Pills to the Public, the proprietor does not wish to make any unnecessary or .edious perambulation, but with full directions and a tew important remarks, he will leave the medicine to speak for itelf, feeling that its merits are such as will not tail to bring it into general use 5 •ndecd, he is so sanguine of the efficacy of these Pills, lie does not hesitate to guarantee a cure in the most aggravated cases. By following the directions closely while taking the preparation, its superiority over the ordinary I onic Mixtures, Pills, Ac. Ac., will be readily dis covered. Being purely vegetable, free from all foreign deleterious or mineral preparations, these Pills may betaken with the utmost safety under almost any circumstances. They strengthen the stomach invigorate the system, and entirely prevent tha t ' languor aud prostration of strength which always attends this disease. They also p ossess a decided superiority over Qui nine, Prussiate of Iron, Arsenic, Bonneset, aud the numerous other perparations usually employed in the cure of FEVER AND AGUE, in being gently Aperient, by this means carrying themselves off through the medium of the bowels after they have spent their medicinal power in the stomach, thus preventing the accumulation of those unpleasan t symptoms that almost universally follow the applica tion of the aforesaid medicines, which constringe the bowels, produce congestion of the Liver, and re main in the system to brood diseases more danger ous than those they are employed to subvert. Hence it is that those remedies in the majori ty of instances only serve to suppress the disease for a short period, while the disease still in the sys tem is brooding new evils, and soon developes itself in a more dangerous lorm than at first; thus the necessity of a medicine possessing the qualities of Dr. Jayne's Ague: Pills, that can be applied with out the fear of experiencing those evil effects before alluded to, and with a full confii’e ice of receiving a speedy and radical cure of the disease. These Pills are put up in vials containing from 28 to 30 Pills, and being thus excluded from the air, never deteriorate or undergo any change, and if used according to the directions, are an Infallible Remedy for Fever and Ague, Intermittent and R-jualtteit Fevers, An. CERTIFICATES; Augiistd, August 5, 1847.—We, the undersigned, having examined a sample of Cotton said to be gin ned by Mr. Thomas ’Wynne’s Fire-Proof Cotton Gins, consider it as well ginned as any cotton we have seen in this market, and with a longer staple.
