Sales of LAND by Administrators, Executors or Guar
dians, are required, by law, to be held on the first Tuee
day in the month, between the hours often in the fore
noon and three in the afternoon, at the Court House in
which the property is situate. Notice, of those sales
must be givefi in a public Gazette SIXTY DAYS pre
vious to the day of sale.
Dales of NEGROES must be at Public Auction, on the
first Tuesday of the month, between the usual hours o
sale, at the place of public sales in the county where
the Letteis Testamentary, or Administration, or Guar
dianship, may have been granted, first giving SIXTY
DAY’S notice thereof, in one of the public Gazettes o
this State, and at the door of the Court House where
, atrch sales are to be held.
Notice for the sale of Personal Property must he given
in like manner FORTY DAYS previous to day of sale.
Notice to the Debtors and Creditors of an Estate must be
published for FORTY DAYS.

says that his name is WALTON, and that
he belongs to Henry Stokes, of Coweta
county, and bas been runaway about three years.
He I< dks to be about 25 or 26 years of age; 5 feet 5
or 6 inches high; eyes large ard full; forehead high;
speaks slow when spoken to; his right leg badly
burnt when young afe high up as the hip, with a
small scar under his left breas'} the fore-finger on
bis left hand at the second joint was, be says, blown
off blasting rocks at Athens about two years ago,
which was after he left home. The owner is re
quested totome forward, prove property, pay ex
penses, and lake him from iail.
