Ids joints, which were always increased on the slightest motion, the j tongue preserved a steady whiteness; loss of appe tite, dizziness in Ins head, the bowels commonly very costive, the urin high colored, and often pro fuse sweating, unattended hy relief. The above symptoms werealsa attended with considerable dif ficulty of breathing, with a sense of tightness across the chest, likewise a great want of dne energy in the nervous system. Airs Alarv Dillon,of Wiiliamsbnrgh, was restored to health by the use of this medicine.—The symp toms of this ilestrcssing case wore as follows; Total loss of appetite, palpitation of the heart, twitching of the tendons,with agoneral spasmodic affection of the muscles, difficulty of breathing, giddiness, languor, lassitude, great depression of spirits, with the fear of some impending evil, a sensation of fluttering at the pit of the stomach, irregular tran sient pains in different parts, great emancipation with other symptoms of extreme debility. The above case was pronounced hopeless hy three of the most eminent physicians, and a disso lution of the patient daily awaited (or hy her friends, which may he authenticated by the physicians who were in attendance. A'he has given her cheer ful permission to publish the above facts, and will also gladly give any information respecting the benefit she has received to any enquiring mind. MARY DILLON, 93* Mr. Charles Semple, who had been afflicted for five years with humoral habitual Aub urn, applied to Dr Evans on the 4lh of Nov. labor ing under the following symptoms; A sense ot tightness across the chest, w ith the greatest diffi culty in breathing, distressing cough, generally ending with copious expectoration of viscid phlegm, disturbed est, the face turgid and of a livid hue; could not I e in a horizontal position without the sensation )f immediate suffocation, languor, drew siness, and dissint-ss in the head, and loss ofap" pet to. .Mr S. applied to the most eminent physician in the city, likewise used several oilier remedies without obtaining any permanent benefit un til his friends persuaded him ~o place himself mid rDr c. vans’ treatment, ile is now relieved of his complaint, and called at tho office yesterday, | avowing that be had not words in express Ins grsti-1 nde for the benefit ho had received.
