The Rev. Alexander Campbell of Virginia, so
celebrated on account of his controversy with Mr.
Owen, on the iruthof the Christian religion, and
subsequently with Bishop Purcell, on the Catholic
question, has been endeavoring to establish the dog
ma of ENDLESS HEI.L TORMENTS, in con-1
troversy with Rev. Dolphus Skinner, of Utica, N. Y
This discussion will appear entire in the columns of
the “Evangelical Univnrsalist,” a quarto
weekly sheet, published in Macon, Geo, by Gregory,
Andrews & Hall, at $3 per annum for a single
co py_ss for two copies, and §2O for ten copies.—

was afflicted with the above complaint for ten

sion and oppression after eating, distressing pain in
the pit of the stomach, nausea, impaired appetite
giddiness, palpitation of the heart, great debility

rest, sometimes a billions vomiting and pain in Ihe
rigid side, an extreme degree of languor and faint
ness, any endeavor te (airsuc his business causing
immediate exauslion and weariness.
jjjMr. McKenzie is daily attending hie business,
mid none of the above symptoms have recurred
since he used the above medicine He is now a
strong and healthy man. Ho resorted to myriads
of remedies, but they wereall ineffectual.

the “ Ualiiax, Wilmington, and Charleston Rail
Road, Stage and Steamboat Lino.”

poliian Mail Line,” will arrive in Richmond < n the
evening alter that cm which they leave Raleigh,
and having the night for real, are yet enabled, by
existing arrangements, In proceed to Baltimore on
the succeeding day, and llicncc to Philadelphia the

York Tunc, less than three days from Raleigh to
New York.
Passengers who leave Charleston fir Wilmington
on Sunday or Tuesday evening, will, if they arrive

It should bo remembered that no vermifuge is i
uniformly successful, even when worms are known t
to be present. The ofliciatml infusion is 100 weak; c
containing only the tea of seven and a half lo fit- (

quarter to seven and a half grains of thesubstanco. s
