Cotton. —Onr trade in this article is almost ul
on end tor the season, most of onr shippers having
retired from the market, mid the markets on the sen
board being very dull, caused el tho s north hy a
stoppage ol many of the factories, in consequence
of tho long continued drought. Our quotations
are from 8 to ] 1 cents.
Exchange.—Chocks an dull .sale, they are now
offered on New York at li per cent premium lor
current hills and 25 per cent for city hills; Charles
ton, 31 per cent is asked in current bills, h n they
are also dull sale.
