Steam Packet wharf, will vSte*b>‘ sold at auction on Satur ,lay. the Bth inst., on a cre dit of three, six and twelve months, approved pa per. This Boat is now in first rate order, having during the past summer been thoroughly overhauled at great expense ; she is copper fastened and cop pered, 103 feet long, ISA feet beam, 7A hold. Her Engine was built by Messrs. Watchman and Pratt, Baltimore, four boilers, 24 feel long, 34 in diame ter, stroke 9 feet, diameter cylinder 16g inches, high pressure, engine very compactly arranged, 70 to 80 horse power. This Boat is peculiarly adapted as a Towing Boat, at which business she was very successful in Wilmington, N. C., where she was built. The hull «f the boat is of best material, live oak, cedar and white oak framed, plank of yellow pine—and to any port or place where a towing steam-boat is wanted, there are few that would be found superior to tiie Clarendon.
