I went afterwards lo New York, in hopes that change ol climate and diet and new scenes might possibly restore me to health; and indeed a stay of a lew months there enabled mo to renew my trade. 1 was not cured, however, lor from the time I was sick, until very lately, 1 was often distressed by a pain in my leftside, want of appetite, indigestion, and a general depression of spirits. Last October 1 was induced loluke “Dr. Roberts’s Welch Medicn memuni,” prepared by yourself, and 1 feel grateful that 1 am able lo state that after having used one pint slid a half, the pain in my side has entirely subsided, I have regained my nppciite, mid my general honllti has been so tir r restored that I have not felt so well as 1 do now within ihe last eight years. I conceived it a duty I owe lo the public at largo, lo make my case generally known. I hope that thousands through the Untied Stales,who are now as much afflicted as I have been, will he induced to make a trial of your medicine, convinced that they will find it most beneficial.
