bama, are guest of Mr. E. J.

Runaway Accident-
Last Saturday when Mr. Culbreth
of Dsnring district was returning
home, when near the residence of Mr.
W. A. Watson on the Boneville road
his mule became frightened at the ap
proach of Dr. S. Gibson’s automobile,
and when Mr. uulbreth jumped from
the wagon tire mule ran away. Mrs.
McGee who resides near the Bnffth
mill, her daughter, and also a small
son of Mr Culbreth, were in tho wagon
at the time, and Mrs. McGee was
thrown out breaking one of the Ijoihs
of her forearm. The mule, with the
girl and b..y in the wagon continued
to run uutil near Boneville, when the
girl and boy jumped out the girl bruis
ing her face slightly.
Dr. Gibson followed the runaway
mule to Boneville and ruturned to
Thomson with all of the parties on his
automobile. lie sot and dressed the
arm or Mrs. McGee who is doing all
right and will soon bo out again.
The run made by the mule was a
record breaker, being more than two
miles, in which he kept in the middle
of the road, doing no damage to the
wagon.
