Sis: Yonr Cherry Federal is performing marvellous
cores In this section. It has relieved severs! from alarm
ing symptoms of consumption, and is now coring a man
who has labored under an affection of the lungs for the
last forty years. HENRY L. PARKS, Merchant, t
A. A. RAMSEY, M. D, Auiox,- Monos do, Iowa,
writes, Sept. 6,1855: “ During my practice of many years
I have found nothing equal to yonr Cherry Fectoral for
giving ease and relief to consumptive patients, or coring
such as are curable.”
We might add volumes of evidence, hat the most con
vincing proof of the virtues of this remedy is found in its
effects upon trial.
ConsnmplioH.
Probably no one remedy has CTer been known which
cured so many and such dangerous cases as this. Some
no human aid can reach; bnt even to those the Cherry
federal affords relief and comfort
Astok House, New Tore Citt, March 5,185*.
Doctor Aver, Lowell: I feel it a duty and a pleasure
to inform yon what yonr Cherry Jhdoral has done for my
wife. She had been fire months laboring under the dan
gerous symptoms of Consumption, from which no aid we
could procure gave her mnch relief. She was steadily fail
ing. until Dr. Strong, of this dty, where we have come for
advice, recommended a trial of yonr medicine. We bless
his kindness, as we do yonr skill; for she has recovered
from that day. She is not yet as strong as foe used to
be, bnt is free'from her congh, and calls herself well.
Yours with gratitude and regard,

Cbruumpfitet, do not despair till yon have tried Ates’s
Cherry Pectoral. It is made by one of the best medical
chemists in the world, and its cures all around us bespi
tlie high merits of itfe virtues.—Philadelphia Ledger.
Ayer’s Cathartic Fills.
T HE sciences of Chemistry and Medicine have been
taxed their utmost to produce this best, most perfect
purgative which is known to man. Innumerable proofs
are shown that these Pills have virtues which surpass in
excellence the ordinary medicines, and that they win un
precedentedly upon the esteem of all men. They are safe
and pleasant to take, bnt powerful to cure. Their pene
trating properties stimulate the vital activities of the body,
remove the obstructions of its organs, purify the blood,
and expel disease. They purge out the fonl humors which
breed and grow distemper, stimulate sluggish or disor
dered organs into their natural action, and impart healthy
tone with strength to the whole system. Not only do
they cure the every-day complainta of every body, but
aiso formidable and dangerous diseases that have baffled
the best of human skill. While they produce powerful
effects, they are at the same time, in diminished doses, the
safest and best physic that can be employed for children.
Being sugar-coated, they are pleasant to take; and being
purely vegetable, are free from any risk of harm. Cures
have been made which surpass belief were they not sub
stantiated by men of such exalted position and character
as to forbU the snspicion of untruth. Many eminent
clergymen and physicians have lent their names to certify
to the public the reliability of my remedies, while others
have sent me the assurance of their conviction that my
Preparations contribute immensely to the relief of my
afflicted, suffering fellow-men.
The Agent below named is pleased to furnish gratis my
American Almanac, containing directions for their use and
certificates of their cures, of the following complaints: —
Oostiveness. Bilious Complaints, Rheumatism, Dropsy,
Heartburn. Headache arising from a foul stomach. Nau
sea. Indigestion, Morbid Inaction of the Bowels and Pain
arising therefrom. Flatulency, Loss of Appetite, all Ulcer
ous and Cutaneous Diseases which require an eTacuant
medicine, Scrofula or King’s EviL They also, by purify
ing the blood and stimulating the system, cure many
complaints which it would not be supposed they could
reach, such as Deafness, Partial Blindness, Neuralgia and
Nervous Irritability, Derangements of the Liver and Kid
neys. Gout, and other kindred complaints arising from a
low state of the body or obstruction of its functions.
Do not be put off by unprincipled dealers with some
other pill they make more profit on. Ask for Atrb’s
Pills, and take nothing else. No other they can give
you compares with this in its Intrinsic value or curative
powers. The sick want tho best aid there is for them,
and they should have it. ^

Root Pills were first discovered Dr. Mon
the first man to establish the feet that
ease* arite from Impurity af the Blood, tint our
strength, health rod life depends upon the vital fiuid.
When various passages become clogged, and do not act
in perfect harmony with the different functions oi the
body, the blood loses ita action, becomes thick, corrupted
and diseased; thus causing all pains sickness and d to
ot every n»™«; our strength is exhausted, our health
we are deprived Of, and if nature to not assisted in throw
ing off the stagnant humors, the blood will become chock
ed and cease to net and thus our light of life will foreever
be blown out How important then that we should keep
tbe various passages ofthe body free and open. And bow
pleasant to us that we have it in our power to put a med
icine in your reach, namely, Morse’s Indian Boot Pills,
manafectured from plants and roots which grow around
the mountains cliff in Nature’s garden for the health and
recovery of diseased man. One of the roots from which
these Pills are made is a Sudorific, which opens the pores
ofthe skin, and assists Nature in throwing out the finer
parts of the corruption within. The second plant is
Expectorant, that opens and unclogs the passage cf the
lungs, and thus, in a shooting manner, performs ita duty
by throwing off phlegm, and other humors from tbe ungs
by copious spitting. The third is a Diurectic, which gives
ease and double strength to tho kidneys ; thos encour
aged, they draw largo amounts of impuritylfrom the
blood, which has been thrown out bountifully by tbe uri
nary or water passage, and which could not have been,
discharged in any other way. Tbe fourth is a Cathartic,
and accompanies tbe other properties of tbe Pills white
engaged in purifying the blood; tbe coarser particles ot im
purity which cannot pass by the other outlets, are thus
taken up aud conveyed off in great quanties by the bow
ls)
From the above, it is shown that the Morse Indian Root
Pills not only enter the stotnache, bnt become united With
the blood, for they find their way to every part, and
completely rout out and cleanse the system from all im-
pnrity, and the life of the body, which is this blood, be
comes perfectly healthy ; consequently all sickness and
pain is driven from the system, for they cannot remain
when the body becomes so pure and clear.
The reason why we are so distressed when sickand why
so many die, is because they do not get a passage which
will pass to tbe afflicted parte, and which will open tbe
natural passage for the disease to be cast out; hence
large quantities of food and other matter is lodged, and
the stomach and intestines are literally overflowing with
corrupted mass; thus undergoing disagreeable fermenta
tion , constantly mixing with the blood, which throws the
corrupted matter through every vein and artery, until
life is taken from tbe body by disease. Dr. Morse’s Pills
have added to themselves victory upon victory, by re-
stoing millions of tbe sick to blooming health and happi
ness. Yes, thousands who have been racked or tor
mented with sickness, pain and anguish, and whose fee
ble frames have been scorched by the burning elements
of raging fever, who have been brought, as it were, with
in a step of the silent grave, now stand ready to testify
that they would have been numbered with the dead, had
it not been for this great and wonderful medicine,Morse’s
Indian Root Pills. After one or two doses had been ta
ken, they were astonished, and absolutely surprised in
witnessing their charming effects. Not only do they give
immediate ease and strength, and take away all sickness
pain and anguish, but they at once go to work at tbe
foundation ot’ the disease, which is the blood. Tberlore.
it will be shown, especially by those who nse these Pills,
that they will so cleanse und purify, that disease—
that deadly enemy—will take its flight, and the flesh ot
youth and beauty will again return, and the prospect of
long and happy life will cherish and brighten your day:

C ONSUMERS of RICHARDSON’S IJ1NEXS, and those
desirous of obtaining the genuine Goods, should see
that the articles they purchase are sealed with the full
name of the firm,
RICHARDSON, SONS &OWDEN,
as a guarantee of the soundness and durability of the
Goods. This caution is rendered essentially necesary as
large quantities of Inferior and defective Unens are pre
pared season after season and sealed with the name of
Richardson, by Irish Houses, who, regardless of tho in
jury thus inflicted alike on the American consume and
the manufacturers of the genuine Goods, will net readily
a banded a business so profitable, while purchases can be
imposed on with Goods of a worthless aharacter.
