The French papers assert that the object of the Legitimists conspiracy was to excite an insurrection in Spain, and thereby aid Russia. It is thought doubtful about Spain furnishing five thousand men, and Portugal ten thousand men, to go into the pay of tho allies. Cotton Tho cotton market is unchanged but steady. Farrell’s Arabian Liniment This celebrated medicine, skillfully composed as it is of the moat healing balsams and penetrating oils, can never fall to cure almost every affliction that ooulil be alleviated by an external remedy. IU superiority over all other Linimente is proven by the miraculous cure* it performs, and by thejpreat and constantly increasing land. There hasbeanaold withiu the post year more than THREE MILLIOnBUF BOTTLES, and there can be but few persona found who do not beetow upon it the highest praise Cor the rare virtues it possesses. Noth ing, perhaps, since the creation of the world, has been so successful as au external remedy for all nervous dis- m, as this wonderful curative. When applied, it instanUneously diffuses itself through the whole sys tem, soothing the Irritated nerves, allaying the most intense pains, and creating a most delightful sensation. Read the following remarkable cure, which can he at tested to by hundreds who were fully acquainted with the whole circumstance. CHRONIC ENLARGEMENT OF THE TONSILS. My daughter, when six months old, was taken with a swelling in the tonsils, which grew larger and larger, till when six years old she had great difficulty in swal lowing her food. Every night watch was kept, fearing she would suffocate. The best doctors attended her but could give no relief. I took her to the most eminent doctors in the East; they said there was no help for her but to outgrow it. With a sad hoart I returned homo with her, when she became so much worse that the doctors had to be called in again ; tbay decided that the tonsils must be cut off as tbe only moans of giving relief. My wife would not consent to this, and she de termined to try your Liniment, which gave relief the very first application, and by a continued use she eu tirely recovered. Sho is now ten years old and fleshy and healthy as could be desired. Your Liniment is al so the best In use for sprains, bruises, cuts, burns, headsche, etc., and it will remove the most severe pain in a few minutes. It also cured caked udder in my cow in a few days. GEORGE FORD. I’eoria, March 20tb, 1849. Look out for Coontorfoita! The public are cautioned against another counter feit, which has lately made its appearance, called W. B. Farrell's Arabian Liniment, the most dangerous of all the counterfeits, because his having the name of Farrell, many will buy it in good faith without the knowledge that a counterfeit exists, and they will per haps only discover their error when the spurious mix ture has wrought its evil effects.
