The Intent accounts from Petropol<*wski gay that when the allied fleet arrived there they found the town deserted and the forti fications dismantled. The Russian ships Au rora and Dwiua had sailed sometime previ ously, up the Amon river, taking with them all the guns, stores &c. The allied fleet had sailed for Sitka, from which port they would proceed to San Francisco, to re-lit. The British ships of war Monarch and President, and the French Frigates Eury- dico and Lo Forte, from the Petropaulowki expedition, had arrived at San Francisco. The visit of the fleet to Stika was a fearful one, as there is a compact existing between Russia and the Britian government, exemp ting tho place from molestation, it being the depot of the Russian, American and Hudson Bay Fur Companies. Intelligence from Acapulco shite that Al varez was fast making his way to the City of Mexico, and constantly increasing his forces. Santa Anna left the city of Mexico on tho 0th inst., tinner the escort of 2500 men. and took the road to Vera Cruz. Two days afterwards 700 or 800 of hi? troops revolted, slew one or two of therr officers, and went over to the insurgents. On reaching Vera Cruz, Santa Anna for mally abdicated the Presidency,, and on the 17th embarked from that port for Havana. City Merino.—A numerous and licen tious mob bad ravaged the Capitol. The New Government.—The Alvarez plat- j form hrd beeu adopted, and under it Gem 1 Carriera was appointed Provisional Presi- j dent, and Gen. La Vega Commander in Chief of thu army. On the flight of Santa Alina, and lulling to pieces of his government, the State pri soners were liberated. Fionr at Vf.ua Cruz.—A conflict be tween two revolted buttullions and a regi ment which still remained faithful to San ta Anna, bad taken place at Vera Cruz.
