CLARKSTON Active shooter awareness class scheduled Clarkston Police Department is sponsoring an active shooter awareness class Jan. 23 at Clarkston Library at 951 North Indian Creek Drive in Clarkston. The class will begin at 6:30 p.m. and participants will be taught active shooter survival tactics and techniques. MLK celebration reaches 35th year DeKalb County will host a Martin Luther King Jr. celebration Jan. 28. The celebration marks the 35th time DeKalb has honored the civil rights activist.
