Consolidated Pretrial Order for the
Court. The Parties are instructed to
discuss settlement options prior to
the Pretrial Conference. Prior to trial,
counsel shall make a good faith ef
fort to resolve any objections in de
positions to be presented at trial. All
unresolved objections, together with
argument and citations, shall be filed,
with a copy to the Court, no later than
five days prior to trial. Any objections
not brought before the Court prior to
trial shall be deemed waived. All Mo
tions in Limine shall be filed on or be
fore January 25, 2019. The parties
are reminded to review the Court's
Standing Order as they prepare the
proposed Consolidated Pre-Trial Or
der and in anticipation of their attend
ance at the Pre-Trial Conference.
The removal of a case from the Pre-
Trial/Jury calendar for any reason

Civil Non-Jury Trial Calendar. All
counsel and parties shall appear
ready for trial in Courtroom 3D,
DeKalb County Judicial Tower, at
9:30 a.m. on February 6, 2019. All
parties and counsel shall be present
with any evidentiary exhibits and wit
nesses necessary for trial. Docu
mentary evidence shall not be con
sidered absent proper foundation for
trial. The Court will not consider affi
davits brought for trial, unless they
comply with the provisions set forth in
the 2013 Georgia Evidence Code.
ALL MOTIONS AND/OR DEMANDS
shall be made in writing as separate
pleadings. They shall be filed with the
CLERK OF THE COURT and a copy
served on the opposing party on or
before twenty (20) calendar days pri
or to the trial date listed.
An Order of the Court is required to

considered only if consented to by all
parties and a Consent Order is sub
mitted.

The following cases comprise the
February 12, 2019, ++CIVIL JURY
Calendar** and will be tried during a
one-week period beginning, Febru
ary 12,2019 thru February 14, 2019.
There will be NO CALENDAR CALL.
All cases should expect to be
reached and must be ready for trial or
subject to dismissal. ALL CASES
WILL REMAIN ON 3 (THREE) HOUR
CALL. If you require more than 3
(three) hours’ notice, please advise
the calendar coordinator in writing of
your reasons and requirements be
fore January 29, 2019. Telephone
notice of trial may be given between
January 2, 2019 and January 31,
2019. Cases may be called out of or
der as scheduling demands. Failure
to report when called shall subject
the complaint, answer or counter
claim to dismissal or subject counsel
or the parties to such other sanctions
as the court may deem appropriate,
including, but not limited to, the re
moval of the case from the trial calen
dar.

remain subject to call for trial pursu
ant to any prior calendar notice.
The removal of any case from the tri
al calendar shall be only by order of
the Court, Continuances will not be
granted except for legal excuse. In
the event you have a legal excuse,
please advise the calendar coordinat
or in writing. If a case is settled or
otherwise resolved in any manner,
the parties must notify the calendar
coordinator immediately and follow
up with a letter confirming dismissal
or settlement.
The parties must submit a consolid
ated pretrial order in conformity with
Uniform State Court Rule 7.2. Each
litigant bears joint and several re
sponsibilities for ensuring that the
consolidated pretrial is filed. Failure
to respond to this notice or to timely
complete the proposed Consolidated
Pretrial Order MAY WELL result in
the dismissal of the complaint, an
swer, or counterclaim as appropriate;
or to subject counsel or parties to
contempt sanctions as the Court may
deem appropriate; or alternatively, if
the Court deems a lesser sanction is
deserved in the removal of the case
