Volunteers are needed
for two MLK Day events in
Lithonia. The Lithonia Food
Pantries'food distribution
needs volunteers Jan. 19 from
8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Lithonia
City Hall's parking lot,

Friends of Tucker
Recreation Center will host a
day of service in honor of Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Jan.

Board to meet
The DeKalb Parks Citizen
Advisory Board Committee
meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Jan. 22 at the DeKalb County
Fire Rescue Headquarters, 1950

The meeting will take place on
the first floor in room 111.

on current park improvements
and recreation projects.

Father-daughter dance
scheduled
DeKalb County Department
of Recreation, Parks &
Cultural Affairs will host a
father-daughter dance at the
Callanwolde Fine Arts Center,
980 Briarcliff Road in Atlanta on
Feb. 7, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The father-daughter dance
is for all ages and costs $15
per couple and $5 for each
additional child. The event will
include music, refreshments
and dancing.
