AcyC 1 " CIRCULATION | VERIFICATION | COUNCIL Welcome to The “new” Champion newspaper! The times they are a changing, and so is your weekly newspaper. Over the next few weeks, readers will likely notice slight changes in content as we seek to continuously improve our product with a goal of providing readers with the best local news coverage available in DeKalb County. Our first and most obvious change is a new format that is more user friendly, more colorful and easier to manage. The new format eliminates multiple individual sections and combines these into one neat package. Continuing a tradition of 12 consecutive years of being recognized as a first- place General Excellence newspaper in Georgia Press Association’s annual Better Newspaper Contest, we make every effort to be on the cutting edge of newspaper publishing in our region. To our knowledge, we are the first newspaper in Georgia to convert our regular issues to a magazine format. It is our hope that readers and advertisers alike appreciate our latest improvements. We welcome and encourage comments, positive and negative, from our readers. Please feel free to share your thoughts and or concerns with us as we build an even better newspaper that meets the needs of the communities we serve. A reader poll will be posted on www.facebook.com/ DeKalbChampNews.
