District 3 Commissioner Larry Johnson hosted the 2019 Tree of Love event at The Gallery at South DeKalb Mall. Community
leaders joined him in celebrating the annual event benefitting local children for the holidays.
DeKalb District 3 Commissioner Larry Johnson hosted a Random Acts of Kindness bus tour. Students and teachers from Bob Mathis Elementary and Barack H. Obama Elementary Magnet School of Technology went to
several DeKalb County fire stations to donate food and water to firefighters and sing Christmas songs. Along the way they stopped at a local YMCA to visit a member celebrating her 100th birthday. Several local officials
tagged along, including DeKalb Police Chief Mirtha Ramos, DeKalb Fire Chief Darnell Fullum, DeKalb Juvenile Court Chief Judge Vincent Crawford, and others.
