RTCA has 13 se niors that play soccer for the Crusaders. "These students are part of a team that has be come more like a fam ily" Coach Amber Meeks said. RTCA doesn’t know when their last game will be but are hopeful for this group that they will be playing in May for State Playoffs. The game went to extra in nings before a winner was decided, with the Crusad ers falling in the contest. RTCA got on the board first with a run in the bot tom of the second inning to lead, 1-0. Brentwood an swered in the top of the third inning with a run to tie it up at 1-1. RTCA added a run in the bottom of the fourth inning to go back on top, 2-1. Brentwood tied the game at 2-2 in the top of the sixth inning. RTCA couldn't put anything to gether in the sixth or sev enth sending the game to extra innings. In the top of the eighth inning Brentwood plated two runs to jump out to a 4-2 lead over the Crusaders. RTCA was held in the bot tom of the eighth as they fell 4-2. This week RTCA hosted First Preparatory Christian Academy on Monday and Vidalia Heri tage Academy on Tuesday, both after presstime. Public Notice The Montgomery County Board of Elections and Registration is announcing a poll consolidation. The current proposed plan is for the county to transition from 7 precincts to 3 precincts. The proposed consolidation will consist of the following precinct changes: 1) Ailey and Tarrytown (West of Old Louisville Rd and the West side of Hwy 227 from Hwy 29 to Braddy Rd) will merge with the Mount Vernon Precinct. 2) Alston precinct will merge with the Uvalda precinct. 3) Kibbee and Tarrytown (East of Old Louisville Rd) will merge with the Higgston Precinct. The Board of Elections and Registration will meet on May 1, 2023, at 5:00 P.M. in the Government Annex Building which houses the Board of Elections (251 S.
