Senior Kara Maxwell poured on 16
points but it was not enough for the Beth

basketball team Monday night against
region rival Loganville Christian Acade
my.
BCA dropped a 55-27 decision to slip
to 3-10 overall and 1-7 in GISA Region

“We played better tonight,” Parker said
after the game. “We didn’t like the end
result but overall we improved.”
Maxwell continues to play well after
missing several games earlier in the season
due to a concussion. The senior scored
seven points in the first half and nine in
the second during Tuesday night’s home
contest.
Catherine Doolittle added five points
for the Lady Knights while Bailey Brown,
Stella Byrd and Olivia Morgan each fin
ished with two points.
BCA returns to the court Thursday when
it hosts Griffin Christian at 6 p.m. The
Lady Knights will also host Holy Spirit
Prep Monday at 6 p.m. Both games are
