On Monday, March 21, the Rev. Terry Tippens from Winder First United Methodist will bring the noon ser vice and Rev. Brad Greene from Arbor Point Church will be the pastor for the 6:30 p.m. service. Tuesday, March 22, the pastor for the noon service will be the Rev. Greg Moore from Winder Wesleyan Church and Lynn Berry Riden from White Oak Spring Mission ary Baptist Church will be at the 6:30 p.m. service. On Wednesday, March 23, Father Gilbert Exume, from St. Matthews Catholic Church will be at the noon service and Dwight Oakes, Director of Programs and Education from Winder First United Methodist Church will have the 6:30 p.m. service. On Thursday, March 24, Rev. David Moore from Mid way United Methodist Church will be the noon pastor and there will be a Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service at 8 p.m. that evening. On Friday, March 25, the Rev. Jason Haynes from White Oak Spring Missionary Baptist Church will bring the noon message. The weekday noon services will be held in the sanctuary and the 6:30 p.m. services will be in the fellowship hall. A free sandwich lunch will be Monday through Friday at 12:30 in the fellowship hall and a free light supper will be at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday in the fellow ship hall. The community is invited to attend. Winder First United Methodist Church will host an “Introduction to Hockey” for elementary school students on Satur days during the month of March in the Family Life Center. No equipment or regis tration is required. Boys and girls are welcome. There will be a pancake breakfast to benefit the American Cancer Society Winder FUMC Relay for Life Team on Saturday, March 12, from 9 to 12 in the fellowship hall. The cost is $6 per plate and you may pay at the door. Pentecost Methodist Church has a skeet shoot ing trip scheduled for Saturday, March 12 and Saturday, March 19 will be Movie Night showing “Miracles from Heaven” at 6 p.m. A Maundy Thursday services will be Thursday, March 24 at 7 p.m. Bible School will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, March 24 and 25. There will be an Eas ter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26. Pentecost Methodist Church is located at 1055 Highway 82 in Winder. Northside Presbyte rian Church of Winder will offer the DivorceCare Seminar, a Divorce Recov ery seminar and support group for divorced or sepa rated individuals. The sem inar will meet from 7 p.m to 8:30 p.m. each Wednes day beginning March 9 in the fellowship hall of the church for 13 weeks. Barrow TottrnaTs Pets of the Week for March 9 BELLASHI She is a sweet lovable little girl. A Shih Tzu and Pomeranian mix, she is housebroken and gets along well with other dogs, cats and children. She is three years old and was relin quished by her owners when they moved away and could not take her with them. RENO A male Pomeranian mix, he is approx imately six-years-old and weighs 15 pounds. He has a great tempera ment, rides well in a car and walks good on a leash. He would make a great addition to any family. FORD She came from a hard life but is very sweet and friendly. She is laid back and gets along well with everybody. This Golden/Shepherd mix is approximately four years old and gets her name from a marking on her that looks like a Ford symbol. She will make you a great family pet. GRETA An eight-year-old female Weimaraner, she is simply amazing. She has a sweet nature and always aims to please by following commands. She is housebroken, gets along well with other dogs and children, fetches and is a great jogging and hiking com panion. ACE This sweet little guy is three to four years old. He is a Terrier and Dachshund mix that doesn’t seem to mind other dogs or cats and gets along great with people. LUKE He comes with lots of energy and the willingness to please his family. He is a Beagle and Hound mix and approximately one year old. Being the perfect size, not too big and not too little, he will make a great addition to your family. BISCUIT This 10 month old male acts more like a dog than a cat. He will follow you around, doesn’t mind getting baths and is sweet and lovable. He gets along well with other cats and doesn’t mind dogs. Biscuit is ready for his forever home. BUSY Busy got her name from being a busy girl. She is approximately six months old and very petite.
