Mr. Hollis was bom in Athens, the son of the late Charles William and Fran ces Venable Hollis. Mr. Hollis was a member and deacon of Brockton Road Baptist Church, a member of the Gideons and Mt. Vernon Masonic Fodge and was retired from Hall Equipment Company. Wayman was the loving husband of Diane Shep herd Hollis for 54 years, and a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Jackson was born December 1, 1995, the son of James (Joe) McCreery and the late Felice Armstrong McCreery, and grandson of the late Robert and Isabel McCreery of Jefferson. Jackson was a generous and caring young man, as shown by him just the week before his passing when he challenged his online friends and helped to raise over $45,000 via ‘Desert Bus For Hope’ for ‘Child’s Play’, a charity that provides games and toys for chil dren in long-term hospital stays. She was a graduate of Bowman High School and furthered her education at Abraham Baldwin Agri cultural College. Bobbie was of the Baptist faith and a former member of the Elbert Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Pink Ladies. She was an avid traveler and was passionate about working in her vegetable and flower gardens. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Rose Smith Todd; husbands, Hugh Alexander Smith Sr. and Ralph Carlis Rice Jr.; and siblings, Bill and Betty Lester, Betty and Hoyt Car ey and Larry Lester.
