IV. .1. Ramsay, Fsg., President Suiit/u rn Pub. Co.;
Dear Siu, — With this we send you an engraving
showing the style of the Domestic Sewing Machines
contracted for by you to be used as premiums for sub
scribers to your journal.
The cut shows the machine with the cover removed,
and gives an idea of the size of the working parts of
the machine.
When delivered to your order, each machine will have
a cover, lock and key, drawer for the tools, the exten
sion table (drop leaf), castors, and all the tools and im
plements complete lor the successful working of the
Mime. They will be carefully packed for transportation,
and delivered free of charge on board the cars in At

The “ Domestic” has now been in this market three
years, and its merits are generally known and admitted;
hut to all who wish further informal ion, we will send
the descriptive price-lists, and give all needful ex plana
tion. We do not think it necessary to go into full par
ticulars here, but will say that we are thoroughly
acquainted with the different makes of sewing inachliies
now in the market, and we confidently assert that there
is not a machine that so well answers the requirements
of a family ns the Light-Running Domestic There is
no one particular of value In family use in which the
Domestic is inferior to others. No machine has been
as poptHar, sold an rapidly, or given as much satisfac
tion in this territory. We can substantiate this claim
an well as the foilowing statement of facts. These are
not irresponsible statements, but susceptible of proof:
The Domestic is warranted to do a greater range of
work than any other mt ' nr.
The Domestic is warranted to run lighter than any
other machine.
The Domestic is warranted to do all work that other
machines do
The Domestic is warranted to do some work that no
other machine can.
