INTO MARVELOUS LIGHT.
{Continued from page 14.}
“I am impatient to hear your dream.”
“Call it what you will, it was horrible. Yet, every day since has brought
but proof of its reality. It was this: All spirits that ever have been, or ever
shall be created, were made by God before the war in heaven occurred between
Cod and His adherents and Satan and his adherents. This world is the hell
into which Satan and his angels were cast, where their spirits will spend
a never ending existence of continued sin and suffering, in various forms of
flesh. A spirit may in one age be made to crawl in the dust of the earth in
the form of a worm or a serpent, and in the next be clothed in the body
of a man, or have some mission of Satan’s to perform in spirit form. Your
Bible speaks of the spirits that were in men, being cast into swine, causing
the swine to jump over the precipice and be drowned in the sea. This pre
sentation of our existence overwhelmed me with such force showing me that all
man’s pretenses and fancied beliefs in his goodness were such hollow mock
eries, that I at once threw it all off, and boldly stepped out, pretending nothing
more than I really was, and am, and ever shall be—the devil’s own. As
to what form my damned spirit shall enter when it has thrown off this
mortal coil, I have not the slightest idea. I have only to do with the
present, to get out of this hell what few pleasures it affords. I think God
forever forsook Satan’s kingdom when He cast it out from heaven, and that
He has no connection with this world whatever in a personal way. I think
the devil alone holds all the reins in his own hands. And, my boy, the day
will come when you shall acknowledge it.”
“Never. I pity you from the depths of my heart. Verily, Satan has your
spirit in his chains, (but I shall endeavor, through the Son of God, to break
them, if it costs me my life.”
“You reckon not what you undertake, my boy. Every temptation that
Satan can conceive will be thrown around you, and I warn you now that when
those terrible moods seize me, I may be the very one that shall endeavor to
wreck your soul. As I have told you before, I seem to have no power what
ever to resist the force that goads me on. When I am my better self I am
more fond of you that of any human being. Were I an innocent boy, I should
describe my affection for you as that which I should have for an only
brother. At this moment, lam filled with contrition. John, John, let me beg
of you to refuse to have anything more to do with me. I am a worse man
than I can ever tell you. I shall eventually wreck your life, if our con
stant association continues. Leave New York, take any step that will sepa
rate you from me. I beg, I entreat you to do it. This spirit of contrition
may never come to me again, but remember this hour. lam a wretched man,
but leave me to my sins.”

A MONEY MAKER
The Great Western Oil Refining & Pipe Line Co., of Erie, Kansas, with its
1,000 barrel plant complete, tanks ranging from 600 to 10,000 barrels each, its
own private pipe lines in touch with one hundred wells belonging to various
companies, its refinery site of 53 acres, two magnificent gas well upon same
that will furnish fuel for the entire plant, thereby saving 50 per cent, on the
cost of refining, with lease on hundreds of acres of oil lands. Its plant and
properties valued at over $300,000, $50,000 in bank and bills receivable, two
thirds of the capital stock still in the treasury, will pay dividends ranging
from 10 to 25 cents per share annually on all outstanding stock, with the
present 1,000 barrel plant. Within the next twelve months we expect to in
crease the capacity to fully 5,000 barrels, so you see the tremendous dividends
in sight for persons purchasing the stock at the present price—2s cents per
share. This price will soon be advanced to 50 cents per share, and there is
only a limited number of shares to be sold at 25 cents. I would advise quick
action in this matter. There is no company in the United States that will
stand a more thorough investigation, and has a cleaner record. If you have
from SIO.OO to $5,000 that you desire to invest in a good, first-class propo
sition, send it to me at once. Investigate 30 days, and if not perfectly satis
fied every dollar of your money will be returned. If you desire other infor
mation, write for same. Make all checks payable and address all communi
cations to w. P. FIFE, 1125-1 Missouri Trust Bldg., St. Louis, Mo.

AN EASY WAY TO MAKE MONEY.
I resolved New 7 Year’s that I would turn over
a new leaf and do all in my power to assist
others, and write you my experience, hoping
many may be benefited as I have been. I made
|3BO in 80 days selling dishwashers. I did my
hou ework at the same time. Ido not canvass,
people come or send for the dishwashers. They’re
lovely to sell. The machine washes and dries
the dishes perfectly in three minutes, without
putting the hands in water. Every lady who
sees it wants one, as they only cost $5.00. I think
any person can do as well as I have. Write to
the Mound City Dishw’asher Co.. St. Louis, Mo.
Lept. 151, and they will give you instructions
and start you in the business. Dishwashers sell
to everybody —dishes must be washed three times
a day. It will not be long before dishwashers
are more numerous than sewing machines, as
they are cheaper and used so much more fre
quently. Mrs. W. B.
