“The Apostle of Sunshine/" Dr. A. A. Willets. 3 '
During the week just passed Ths Gsldan Age office was favored by a
most delightful ray from “the Apostle of Sunshine”—a “ray” which 'II
took the form of a personal visit from this eminent gentleman who has spent '
his eighty-five years of vigorous life in disseminating “sweetness and light” HnSßr .
to the world in which he lives. His woik, however, has not been limited by
the environments that surround ordinary individuals, for he has so far ex
tended his sphere that during a pastorate of fifty years in the Presbyterian .
Church he has traveled twenty thousand miles and lectured not less than 126 ’*
times a year. " J|
Fifty Years a Preacher. ~ 'j|
Dr. Willits held a pulpit at Dayton, Ohio, and also at Warren Memorial HHK ‘ -
Church at Louisville, Ky. When he was about sixty-three years old he 1
decided to devote himself exclusively to lecture work, feeling that he could
not do full justice to both the pulpit and the people at large. His congrega
lion offered to increase his salary from $5,000 a year to SIO,OOO, but this did T
not tempt Dr. Willets’ as his mission was not to acquire a fortune in cash
but to give to the world the helpful influence for good which he wielded so
powerfully. kcv. j. v». »»«. m.

The Great Majestic Malleable and Charcoal Iron Range
J Thousands sold every year to the best citizens of the country.
4 Hundreds of the best hardware and stove dealers sell the Majestic Range in prefer
ence to any other range made. \X HY ?
□ It is the only genuine Malleable and Charcoal Iron Range manufactured.
Charcoal Iron costs twice as much as Steel. Malleable Iron costs nearly three
" times as much as Cast Iron.
The Great Majestic Range bakes, boils, fries, stews, and roasts all good things to eat,
v so perfectly, and is so easy to manage, burns such a small amount of fuel, heats water so
quickly, and is so easy to keep clean, and looks so beautiful in the kitchen, that good
housekeepers will not have anything else. It is no trouble to set up, no dampers to get out „
of fix, in fact, everyone who has the Great Majestic Range is "PERFECTLY SATISFIED."
On account of their superior material and workmanship the Great Majestic Malle
» able and Charcoal Iron Ranges cost a little more money at first, but are the cheapest in
the long run, on account of their lasting quality. »
J Call on your dealer and ask to see a Great Majestic Range. If he can-
not show you one, write to us for our book “Ranpe Comparison” that
o will show you the difference between the Great Majestic and others.
