PETITION FOR CHARTER.
GEORGIA, Fulton County.
To the Superior Court of Said County:
The petition of R. I. E. Dunn and W.
K. Dunn, of Fulton County, Georgia, and
Jno. G. Flowers, of Sulphur Springs
(Hopkins County), Texas, respectfully
shows:
1. That they desire for themselves,
their associates and successors, to be
incorporated and made a body politic, un
der the name and style of the METRO
POLITAN PRINTING CO., for the pe
riod of twenty years.
2. The principal office of said Company
shall be in the city of Atlanta, State
and County aforesaid. The object of said
corporation is pecuniary gain to itself
and shareholders.
3. The business to be carried on by
said corporation is the regular printing
and publishing business.
4. The capital stock of said corporation
shall be ten thousand ($10,000) dollars,
with the privilege of increasing same to
twenty-five thousand ($25,000) dollars, by
a majority vote of the stockholders, said
stock to be divided into shares of ten
($10.00) dollars each. Ten per cent, of
the capital has been paid.
5. Petitioners desire the right to sue
and be sued, to plead and be impleaded,
to have and use a common seal, to make
all necessary by-laws and regulations,
and to do all things necessary for the
successful carrying on of said business,
including the right to execute notes and
bonds as evidence of indebtedness in
curred, or which may be incurred, in the
conduct of the affairs of the corporation,
and to secure the same by mortgage, se
curity-deed, or other form of lien, under
existing laws.
6. They desire for said corporation the
power and authority to apply for and ac
cept amendments to its charter of either
form or substance by a majority vote
of the stock outstanding. They also ask
for authority to wind up its affairs, liqui
date and discontinue its business by a
two-third vote of outstanding stock.
7. They desire for said corporation the
right of renewal when and as provided
by the laws of Georgia, and that it have
such other rights, powers, privileges and
immunities as are incident to like in
corporations or permissible under the
laws of Georgia.
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray to be
incorporated under the name and style
aforesaid, with the powers, privileges and
immunities herein set forth, and as are
now, or may hereafter be, allowed a
corporation of similar character under
the laws of Georgia.

daily, weekly or monthly newspapers.

sand ($100,000) dollars, by a majority
vote of the stockholders, said stock to
be divided into shares of ten ($10.00) dol
lars each. Ten per cent, of the capital
stock has been paid.
5. Petitioners desire the right to sue
and be sued, to plead and be impleaded,
to have and use a common seal, to make
