A Noted Southerner.
“I have no patience with inefficient
people, because it is so easy to learn,”
says Mr. Eugene Anderson, President
of t;he Georgia-Alabama Business Col
lege at Macon, Ga., whose picture
appears above. “Opportunities are
abundant. In fact, the demand for
capable people far exceeds the sup
ply. Employers unanimously agree
that Incompetent help is expensive at
any price, and they are willing to pay
high salaries to those who show
ability.
Corporations and other business
concerns are constantly writing me
for office assistants, and I find not
the slightest difficulty in placing into
lucrative positions, graduates of the
Georgia-Alabama Business College.
We have, in fact, worked out a plan
by which we keep qualified students
employed for life, and they often
earn more than the course costs them
while they are still at our school. For
students who cannot come to Macon
personally, we maintain a special de
partment in which courses are taught
by mail.”
This college has a fund for taking
high grade young people, letting them
pay for their tuition after they go
to work.

SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON.
(Continued from Page 7.)
faith" (Heb. 12:2). Therefore, go to
Him and have the finishing touches
put on. He will give you “the faith
of the Son of God.” (Gal. 2:20).
Lesson No. 12.
Receive the Seed from Heaven.—
Matt. 13:11-29; Matt. 13:18-23.
Jesus, the Son of God is the seed of
the Kingdom that was planted in the
world and to receive Him is to be
come a Son of God and a joint heir
with Christ. Jesus Christ is the Word
that was made flesh and dwelt among
us. (John 1:1-14). Christ is the seed
(Gal. 3:16). He died that He might
hot abide alone the Son of God, but
that He might bring forth much
fruit —many Sons of the Kingdom.
(John 12:23-24). “That He might be
the first-born among many brethren.”
(Rom. 8:29).
Lesson 13.
Be Good Seed.—Matt. 13:24-30;
MaU. 13:36-43.
Those who receive Jesus the seed
from Heaven into their hearts and
lives become the good seed. “The
sons of the Kingdom.” These some
day will shine as the sun in the
Kingdom of their Father. The tares
are the sons of Satan and some day
they will be taken out of God’s field
and cast into the furnace of fire to
spend eternity with their father —the
Devil.
Lesson No. I—Third Quarter.
Purge Out the Leaven.—Matt. 13:31-
33; Matt. 13:44-52.
The tares of the second parable, the
birds of the third, the leven of the
fourth, and the bad fish of the seventh,
represent the evil things and the
wicked men mixed among the right-
ecus, that must be removed before
the righteous can come into posses
sion of that fulness of joy that our
Master has in store for His people.
The lesson taught by the treasure of
the fifth, and the pearl of the sixth
parable, is that Israel and the church,
hidden and unappreciated by the
world, are the things of real value in
this age.
Many editorial writers deplore the
agitation, recrimination and loss of
time from business incident to prohi
bition elections. It is just as much a
mistaken idea as to say that a person
in desperate need of a surgical opera
tion should not get excited over it
and go to a hospital and be operated
upon, making the best provision for
the care of his business meanwhile
that he can. It is a kill or cute case
saloons will ruin the country if the
country does not ruin them. Every
bit of the sacrifice and trouble given
to the advocacy of a just cause is well
worth while, whether the Immediate
issue is w r on or lost. Its educative
effect is far-reaching and wholesome.
The people can be hood-winked and
fooled sometimes, but not all the
time. What the liquor interest begs
and prays and preaches for all the
time is quiet, quiet, quiet. It is just
what the cook said to the eels she
was boiling alive; they would keep
bobbing up in the pot, so she struck
them on the head with her spoon,
crying, “Drat you, be quiet.”
