days that they are beginning to push
over each other, to see which one can
get out for a glimpse at his big smil

tor are right—as paradoxical as that

other child of God, no matter how con
secrated their lives, for we are taught
in His word that “Even the thoughts
of foolishness are sin.” “There are
none good”—yet if we have truly trus
ted our personal salvation to our Sa
vior then His righteousness becomes
our righteousness and the Father
looking at us through His spilt blood
cannot see our sin. Hence we have
no sin. Paul says: “For I know that
in me, that is in my flesh, dwelleth
no good thing—for to will is present
with me, but to do that which is good

T do no’, but the evil which I would
rot, that I practice” (revised version).
Turn to the seventh chapter of Rom
ans and read it, and you will find that
Paul was distressed over the very
same warfare that is distressing you
now, but when under the inspiration
of God he has reasoned the whole mat-

“There is therefore now no condemna
tion to them which are in Christ Jesus.
For the Law of the Spirit of life in
Christ Jesus hath made me free from
the law of sin and death. For what
the law could not do, in that it was
weak in the flesh, God, sending his
own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh,
and as an offering for sin, condemned
sin in the flesh, that the ordinances of
the law might be fulfilled in us, who
walk not after the flesh, but after the
Spirit.”
Pardon me for quoting so much but
there was no stopping place. And
there R. M. P., you have Paul’s view
of the matter, as he wrote under di
vine direction. Your life, if you love
your Saviour, will be as near what He
teaches it should be, as it is possi
ble for you, in the weakness of the
flesh to make it. Then where your
strength gives out, your Saviour steps
in between you and the Father, His
own righteousness imputed to you,
covering your failure, and making you
without sin in the sight of the law
and the Father. I trust this will help
you to, love the Saviour more, and to
serve Him for the sake of that love,
for all this that He has done for you.

LITTLE MOTHER.
Dear Voices of Youth:
Again, I come to greet you all. You
know, I never go anywhere, but like
our hero, Tom Lockhart, have to stay
home all the time. Os course, the
“Mattress Grave” is seemingly very
hard, and must grow very monotonous,
yet there are places for thankfulness.
So in my life I must not omit the
bright places. The dear Golden Age
drops in every week to form an oasis
in part of my desert. My Bible is very
often turned to as another, so how
can I get “blue?” Time is too precious
to drag or lose. We must redeem it
instead of adding more taxation. The
scriptures say, we must redeem tne
time because the days are evil.
I wonder how many are rejoicing
because Spring is very near at hand.
I am glad to see the evidences in the
vision from my window and to feel
the warmer atmosphere. I don’t suf
fer so badly in mild weather, as I
do in the winter season. I wan’t to tell
you all about a little violet patch down
in the garden. I wonder how many of
you have violets around you. I love the
sweet blue-eyed violets partly because
