Victim reported two sep
arate thefts and stated an
unsub stole a 100-piece
Craftsman tool set out of the
on 1 / 26/ 21 and two 20ft log
ging chains out of the bed of
his truck on Atkinson Dr.
January 28
Deputies responded
to a burglary forced entry
on Friendship Church Rd.
Complainant stated he
cleaned his guns and put
them back inside the gun
safe on and left his residence
around 17:30. When he
returned the following day,
he found some things out of
place and noticed his screen
door handle was broke off.
C/o went inside and found
his gun safe had been stolen
containing appx. 8-9 guns
inside it. He further stated
he hid rifles in between the
headboard of the bed and
mattress of in the gun room
and placed pillows on top
of them and they were also
stolen. C/o and deputy then
walked to his shed where he
stated he was missing sever
al tools and a drill kit. C/o
also stated he had around
20 fishing poles and a large
amount of fishing tackle that
was taken off his porch and
fishing dock.
February 1
Vehicle was towed from
McLeod Bridge Rd. due to
being abandoned for over 24
hours.
Complainant stated
offender, which is his cous
in's boyfriend, lives next
door and keeps texting him
and won't leave him alone
and keeps going onto his
property.
Deputy clocked a vehicle
running 120 MPH in a 70
MPH zone. Vehicle was all
over the road and passing
other vehicles.
Complainant met with
deputy I reference to advise
about a custody issue with
his wife. C/o explained that
the witness separated from
him and moved in with her
grandparents. In the process
of the witness leaving, she
removed the children from
the household to be under
her custody. While the wit
ness is living away from the
home, she is also not allow
ing c/o to have visitation
with the children. C/o has
attempted to arrange times
of visitation with his children
and the witness explained to
him that her lawyer advised
her to not let him see the chil
dren for thirty days.
February 2
Deputy stopped a vehicle
for a window tint and seat-
belt violation. Driver stated
his license has been suspend
ed from a traffic violation
in SC.
February 3
Deputy met with com
plainant in reference to sto
len items.
Deputy observed a vehicle
pass another vehicle in the
no passing zone and initiat
ed a traffic stop. Upon mak
ing contact with the driver,
he advised deputy that his
license were suspended due
to an old traffic ticket.
Deputy responded to Hwy
23 S. residence in reference to
a vicious pit bull that would
not leave.
Complainant state that her
ex-boyfriend showed up at
her residence with a metal
baseball bat and tried to kick
the door of her residence in
because he wanted to fight
her new boyfriend. C/o stat
ed after the offender couldn't
get in the front door, he took
the baseball bat and bust
ed the rear passenger side
window of witness' vehicle
then left.
Deputy observed a vehi
cle make a turn without
stopping at the stop sign,
at which time he initiated a
traffic stop and discovered
the driver had a suspended
license due to child support.
Complainant stated he
heard something behind him
and turned around to find
offender. C/o stated offender
told him he had gotten fired
so complainant told him he
needed to leave and go home
if he was fired but then c/o
stated offender asked him
several times if they had
problems and c/o told him
no. C/o then stated offender
punched him twice and c/o
grabbed offender to try and
hold him down until some
one could remove him from
the property but offender
caused c/o to fall and hit his
head on the corner of a table
causing c/o to gash open his
forehead.
Deputies responded to
Hwy 1 S. in reference to a ver
bal domestic dispute. Upon
arrival, deputies spoke with
both parties who advised
they were arguing and one of
the kids got scared and called
911 but that they were ok and
were just having a heated
argument, but it would not
get physical.
Deputies were dispatched
to Hwy 80 W. in reference to
a male laying on the side of
the road.
Deputy were dispatched to
Mitzi Ln. in reference to a
prowler.
February 4
Deputies were dispatched
to Hwy 23 S. in reference to
a female walking beside the
road.
Deputy responded to
Summertown to a report of 3
males in a van trying to open
doors on houses.
Complainant stated some
one went onto his property.
Deputy noticed a SUV
stopping suspiciously I the
area of Modoc Rd. An inves
tigative stop was conducted
and the driver was found to
have outstanding warrants.
Investigators went to
Chandler Rd. to assist officer
in a search of a residence that
probationer had been stay
ing. In the search, 2 firearms,
a small amount of marijuana,
and a device used for inhal
ing marijuana were located.
February 5
Complainant stated some
one tried to break into her
vehicle. Upon arrival, dep
uty noticed where someone
attempted to bust the driver
side window.
Offender was taken into
custody under an arrest war
rant.
Deputy made an arrest on
116 for speeding.
Complainant stated she
and offender got into an
argument because he keeps
messing around with other
women and while she was
on the phone with her mom,
offender tried to take her
phone and tried to hit her.
Offender stated the reason
he tried to take the phone
is because c/o is always on
the phone talking crap about
him to other people and he
was tired of it but he did not
hit her.
Deputy made an arrest on
116 for DUI.
Deputies responded to
Bird Flanders Rd. Upon
arrival, contact was made
with offender who had been
observed by c/o as a sus
picious male who appeared
as if he had attempted to
enter into the residence.
When questioned, offender
stated he was bored and had
walked from Price Williams
Rd. and was looking for a
ride to Dell wood. Subject
in question was known to
EmCo Law Enforcement
as a mentally ill and care
dependent patient. Contact
was made with offender's
mother and was advised of
the situation, and offender
was transported back to his
residence.
Deputies received a 911
call from victim and stated
before deputies arrived that
she had left the scene and did
not want to talk to a deputy.
Later the same day ECSO
got a call from Candler Co.
Hospital that victim was at
their facility. Reporting dep
uty talked to victim by phone
and refused to give informa
tion needed to file a family
violence report.
February 6
Deputy made contact with
offender on Griffin Ferry Rd.
and further investigation
revealed that offender had
an active arrest through
EmCo.
Deputies assisted GSP
with a single vehicle MVA
where driver was DUI.
911 dispatched a call
to Scarboro Church Rd.
in reference to a domes
tic dispute. Upon arrival,
deputy spoke with victim
who stated his son jumped
on him and hit him in the
head several times, leav
ing a knot on his head
and wanted EMS to check
him out. Complainant was
then transported to Metter
Hospital. Offender was
placed under arrest for sim
ple battery family violence.
February 7
Deputy met with com
plainant on Hwy 80 E. in
reference to a verbal dis
pute between both par
ties. C/o stated she was
at another address because
she wanted to get away
from offender. C/o further
stated offender showed up
at that residence and threat
ened to burn all her belong
ings if she did not return
home.
Vehicle was found unoc
cupied and abandoned in
the ditch on Canoochee Rd.
Evidence showed the driv
er lost control and slid into
the ditch.
Complainant called in
complaining that Flatts
Lounge was playing loud
music and that there were
too many people there and
someone needed to go shut
them down. Deputy went
to the area and sat down
but was unable to hear any
music being too loud.
