Cheesecakes top
list at competition

Lazar Oglesby has taken home the baked goods trophy at
the Flavor of Georgia competition with her Lemon Blue
berry Cheesecake. “Thank you to everyone who has loved
our cheesecakes and supported us through the years,” Lazar
says.
The annual Flavor of Georgia competition features 12
competition categories and each contestant is a company
based in Georgia. Eighty-two Georgia businesses competed
in the contest with judges narrowing the field to just 36 fi
nalists. The contest is sponsored by the College of Agricul
ture and Environmental Sciences, a part of the University of

Ham & Cheese Bites
This is a quick and easy fun treat
Sliced smoked ham
Grated Swiss Cheese
Grated Guryer Cheese
2 cup flour
2 cup milk
1 Tbs Dijon Mustard
2 Tbs Butter
Fresh Cracked black pepper
Take a mini cup cake pan and fold a half slice of smoked
ham into each cupcake place in pan, form is like a cupcake
wrapper.
Add 1 tbsp. of grated Swiss cheese to each ham slice.
In a saucepan, mix 2 cup milk with flour and butter, mixing
evenly, add the Guryer and Swiss cheese and slow cook into
a sauce. Then add the mustard and mix thoroughly.
Pour 1 tbsp. of sauce onto each ham cup. Then add more
shredded cheese on top. Bake at 435 degrees for 15 minutes
and add black pepper to top of ham. Enjoy!!!!
