Core Civic donates
to Project S.A.F.E.
Core Civic’s Jenkins Correctional Center’s warden
Robert Adams, Jr, recently presented a check to team
member Jabari Miller for the Jenkins County 4-H Project
S.A.F.E. Modified Trap Team. The team will be competing
in the District Qualifier this weekend at Baygall Sporting

Apple Cinnamon Rolls
This is a quick and super easy recipe to make and only
needs 2 ingredients. Everyone will think you labored
hours to make it and it is super
delicious.
Can of cinnamon rolls
apple pie filling 1 can
Grease a muffin pan or spray
with nonstick spray.
Open the cinnamon rolls,
push the cinnamon rolls into
the muffin pan, creating a little shell. You can use a square
muffin pan also. Then scoop the apple filling into the shell.
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Once out of the
oven, use the icing that was in the cinnamon rolls to drizzle
over the rolls. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon if desired.
This makes an off the chain treat or dessert.

the Board office at 5 p m. The public is invited to attend.
Thursday, April 27:
The Millen Garden Council is sponsoring TRIVIA Night,
6;00-8:00pm, Jenkins County Senior Citizen Center. Call

7735 to sign up a team.
Saturday, April 29:
Millen Methodist Church will host a yardsale at 8 a m. No
clothes or books.
Saturday, May 20:
Millen’s own Hushpuppies Band will perform a benefit
concert at the Averitt Performing Arts Center/Emma Kelly
Theater at 7:30. All proceeds benefit Ambucs. Purchase
tickets at www.averittcenterforthearts.org
