Mother’s Day
Hurry over to the library this week,
because this is the last full week of the
touring exhibit “Georgia’s Response to the
Holocaust: Survivors & Liberators”. It will
remain at the library through Tuesday, May
16 and will be on display in the library’s
multipurpose room. This exhibit tells the
stories of some of those who were or who
became Georgians, and how they survived
the Holocaust or helped bring it to its end.
This touring exhibit is provided by the
Georgia Commission on the Holocaust in
partnership with the Georgia Public Library
Service.
Looking for the perfect Mother’s Day
gift? Does your mother love to read? Give
the gift of knowledge! We have lots of
wonderful books on our sales shelves. You
can get like-new books for $.50 per bag.
For younger readers, why not bring them
into the library on Tuesdays at 3:30 pm?
That’s when we have our weekly Storytime,
where we read a fun story to your little ones
and then do an activity related to the story.
It’s a ton of fun for the little ones!
In our Crafts to Go, we have new kids
projects weekly, teen, and adult projects
monthly. Or if you would like to create your
crafts in the library, stop by on Wednesdays
at 3:30 pm for an in-library craft time.
