Received a Bachelors of Art in Business Administration from Georgia Southern and her Associates of Business Administration from Middle Georgia College Minister: Part of the ministerial staff at United Fellowship Worship Center Christine Reese Stripling: A Lifetime of Service and Dedication -Joe Brady. Editor Christine Reese Stripling has spent her life building an extraordinary legacy of love, service, and leadership. A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, advocate, and minister, she continues to make a lasting impact on her community and beyond. For over 40 years, Christine has been married to her devoted husband, Oswald Perry Stripling. Together, they have raised three children: Candace (Brandin) Randolph, Geoffrey Stripling, and Jeremy (Ashley) Stripling. As proud grandparents, they cherish their two grandchildren. Harper Nicole and Bryson Cole Randolph. Family is at the heart of Christine’s life, a value deeply rooted in her upbringing as the eighth of nine children bom to the late Mr. General and Mrs. Rosa Lee Jones Reese in Jenkins County, Georgia. Christine’s passion for education is evident in her work as a 7th-grade English Language Arts teacher at Metter Middle School. Her journey as an educator began with an Associate of Business Administration from Middle Georgia College, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University. Driven to further her impact, she earned a Master’s in Curriculum and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Leadership from Walden University. Beyond the classroom, Christine is a child and family advocate with T.A.P.S. (Training and Professional Services). Her work in this role underscores her commitment to empowering families and fostering strong, supportive communities. Christine also serves on the ministerial staff at United Fellowship Worship Center, where she provides spiritual guidance and support. Her faith is a cornerstone of her life and fuels her dedication to helping others. Christine Reese Stripling’s remarkable journey is a testament to her unwavering commitment to faith, family, and community. From her roots in Jenkins County to her multifaceted roles as an educator, advocate, and minister, she embodies the values of service and leadership, inspiring all who know her. Happy New Year’s! At the end of the year, we like to look back on the past year and count our blessings. We are very thankful to the organizations who have worked with us throughout the year, the businesses and individuals who have sponsored programs such as the Summer Reading Program, and of course the patrons who give our library its purpose. Special thanks goes out to Planters EMC’s Operation Round Up, which has helped keep our ever-popular Crafts To Go kits available for everyone to enjoy year-round! We look forward to another year of not only continuing to serve our community, but finding new ways to make our patrons’ lives better. We’ve got some great ideas in the works that we think you’ll love! The Jenkins County Memorial Library Board will meet at 10:30 am on Thursday, January 16 in the library.
