He is also the great grandson of Frances Adams. He is a sophomore at Screven Coun ty High School and takes AP and Honors courses. He has participated in Basketball and Track for the past two years. He plans to attend the University of Georgia to pursue a degree in Business/Finances. Mazlin Blessing is the 16-year-old daughter of Jay and Melanie Bless ing. Mazlin is a junior at Screven County High School. She is a mem ber of FFA and FCCLA. She is also a member of Jackson Baptist Church and is part of the youth group. Maz lin is a member of the Lady Game cocks soccer team and runs cross country. She plans to attend college and pursue a career in the dental field. Rasheena Richardson is the 15-year-old daughter of Latoya and Rasheem Richardson. She is a sophomore at Screven County High School. Rasheena is a member of the club FBLA. She is also a member of the Screven County Lady Gamecock Bas ketball Team. Rasheena plans to attend Clayton State University to become a dental hygienist. Lana Shelton is the 16-year- old daughter of Tina and Mike Shelton. She is a sophomore attending Screven County High School where she takes AP and honors classes. She is also a member of FFA. After high school, Lana plans to attend the University of Georgia and pur sue a career in the medical field as a veterinarian. Bailee Thames is the 15-year- old daughter of Jay and Erin Thames. She is a sophomore at Screven County High School. She is currently taking math and science honors classes. She is a member of FCCLA, Y-club, and FFA. She is a member of Sardis Baptist Church. She is a junior at Screven County High School who credits her success to her supportive fami ly. This is her first year at SCHS, and she hopes to join the softball team next year. Since coming to SCHS she has joined many new clubs, such as FFA. She hopes to become even more involved in clubs and activities. She sees great opportunities in her future. Hunter Logan Walls is a sopho more that is enrolled in Screven County High School. He is the 15-year-old-son Laura and Gary Walls and the grandson of Ran dy and Willene Dickey. He is an active member of the Screven County High School Marching Band as well as the symphonic band. He plans to go to college at Georgia Tech to major in nu clear engineering. Madison Janae Powell is a 17-year-old junior at Screven County High School. She is a member of FCCLA and FBLA. Madison has also played on the Lady Gamecocks Soccer Team for the past three years. She enjoys reading and listening to music. After school she goes to work at Lil Scholars Learning Center every day. After she fin ishes high school, she plans to go to college to become a uni versity librarian. School Aidan Sowell is the 15-year-old son of Bryan and Shannon Sow ell. He is the grandson of Vera Bazemore and the late Robert Bazemore and Jean and Mark Sowell. He is a sophomore at Screven County High School. Aidan is an active member of First Baptist Church in Sylva- nia, Georgia. Aidan’s favorite hobby is acting and doing plays and dramas at the Averitt Art Center in Statesboro. He en joys community service such as working at TMT Farms dur ing Christmas and participating in the local soup kitchen. He helps his church with Opera tion Christmas Child, Bookbags to Appalachia, and Vacation Bible School. Aidan takes both AP classes and Honors classes at SCHS. Aidan’s favorite sub jects in school are History and English. He plans to attend the University of Georgia and wants to pursue a career in political science as a campaign manager or law. Emerson Annalizabeth Kull- berg is the daughter of Neil and Dawn Hill Kullberg. She has three sisters Gracen, Caroline and Addilyn Kullberg and is the granddaughter of the late Lt. Col. Winston A. and Elizabeth C. Kullberg of Maryland, and the late Senator Jack S. Hill and Ruth Ann Hill formerly of Re- idsville. She has taken honors, college, and AP classes and has been named an honor graduate for the class of 2022. She is a member of FCCLA and FFA and has played varsity soccer all four years. She was a member of the 2021 Homecoming Court and participated in Miss Panorama. Her peers in the class of 2022 voted her “Best Personality.” She also placed third in state in the 4-H Shotgun Competition. Bradley Rowell is the 17-year- old son of Bruce and Teerah Rowell. He is a member of the Sylvania First United Methodist Church and is active in the youth group. He is a member of FFA, Y-Club and SGA. He is very active in the FFA where he has competed in numerous Career Development Events and served as chapter president in the 2020- 2021 school year. After gradua tion he plans to attend Georgia Southern University and pursue a degree in the medical field. Davis “Bo” Doss is the 16-year-old son of Dana and Davey Doss. He is a sopho more at Screven County High School and is enrolled in hon ors classes. Bo is a two-year member of the SCHS Wrestling team and the Tennis team. He is an active member of the Y- Club, Interact Club, FFA, FCA and SGA. Bo is a member of Believers’ Church in Sylvania. His hobbies include playing video games and riding the tube and jet ski at the lake. After high school, Bo plans to attend the University of Georgia and pursue a degree in the medical field. Kaitlyn Burns is the 16-year-old daughter of Derek and Lori Bums. She is the granddaughter of Charles and Beatrice Burns and Henry and Rozina Shatteen. Kaitlyn is a sopho more at Screven County Highschool. She is a member of FCCLA and an officer of FBLA. After graduating from high school, Kaitlyn plans to attend college and pursue a career in education. During her free time, she enjoys vacationing with her family and photography. Ta’Myia Tyler is the 17-year- old daughter of Raymond Ty ler and Cindy & Gary Stewart. Ta’Myia feels that she can suc ceed not because she is destined to, but because she is deter mined to. She is a part of the Lady Gamecocks Basketball and Track teams. She is also active in FFA, FBLA, and FC CLA. Ta’Myia is a member of Parker Grove Missionary Bap tist Church. Her future goals and aspirations are to attend college and become a veterinarian. Javla Lovett is the 15-year-old daughter of Brandon and Carsha Lovett. She is the granddaughter of Edwin and Mae Lovett. She is a sophomore at Screven County High School. Jayla is a member of the FBLA and FCCLA. She is a part of the Screven County Gamecock Marching Band’s Color guard and the Lady Game cock Tennis team. Her hobbies include playing the piano, draw ing, and spending time with her family. After she graduates high school, she plans on going to college to become a pediatrician or a Lawyer. John Boswell is the 15-year-old son of Beth and Luke Boswell, and the grandson of Carolyn and Charlie Boswell and Susan and Mike Daley. John is a sophomore enrolled at Screven County High School, tak ing all honors and AP classes. John’s favorite subject is History. He is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Sylvania where he en joys youth group. John plays on the Gamecock tennis team and he is also a member of the Screven County 4-H shotgun team. John is a member of the Future Farmers of America, Y-Club, and 4H. After high school, John plans to attend the University of Georgia, where he intends to pur sue a degree in Dentistry. MaKenzie Mitchell is the 15-year-old daughter of Kim Mitchell and the granddaughter of Willette and the late Mel C. Mock. MaKenzie is a sopho more at Screven County High School. She is a member of FFA and FCCLA. She is currently a member of the SCHS soccer team and was a member of the SCHS softball and soccer teams her freshman year. MaKenzie is also an active member at Rocky Ford Baptist Church. After high school, she plans to attend col lege to become a veterinarian. Jacob Carter is the 15-year- old son of Hank and Tammy Carter. He is currently a sophomore at Screven County High School and is enrolled in the Honors math and sci ence courses. Jacob plays the tuba and is a member of the Gamecock Marching Band and the Symphonic Band. This year Jacob served on the Marching Band’s leadership team as a lieutenant. After high school, Jacob wishes to attend the Uni versity of Georgia and pursue a career in Computer Science.
