This facility is expected to hire 250 people and marks the latest addition to Georgia’s electric ve hicle market. Aspen Aerogels, Inc. is a technology leader in sustainability. The company’s technol ogy enables its cus tomers and partners to achieve their own objectives around the global trends of resource efficiency, electrification, and sustainability. The company’s aero gel carbon program seeks to increase the performance of lith ium-ion batteries to enable electric ve hicle manufacturers to extend the driving range.
