This yummy dessert has beautiful bright colored cupcakes layered in between green grassy frost ing and festive sprinkles, then topped with an adorable Chick Peep. With all of this cuteness in one jar, your kids are sure to have a little extra spring in their step this April! Easter Cupcake Jars Items needed: 1 (15-ounce) box White Cake Mix (plus ingredients on box) Cooking with Azure 2 (14-ounce) containers Fluffy White Whipped Frost ing Cupcake Liners Yellow, Pink, Blue, Purple & Green Food Coloring Festive Sprinkles Chick Peeps 3 (16-ounce) Jars Ribbon Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Fill a muffin pan with cup cake liners, then set aside. In a large mixing bowl and with an electric mixer, beat together white cake mix and the other ingredients needed on the box. Divide the bat ter between 4 bowls. Stir the yellow, pink, blue and purple food coloring into the batter in separate bowls. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 of the way full with the colored batter and bake on the 3rd (middle) rack for around 18 minutes or until a fork comes out clean in the center. Remove from oven and let cup cakes cool completely. In another bowl, stir together the fluffy white whipped frosting and green food coloring. Once cupcakes have cooled, take off the lin ers. Crumble 1 cupcake into the bottom of the jars, then drop green frosting down in the center of the jars over the crumbled cupcake. With a spoon, carefully spread the frosting to the sides of the jar and over the cake. Add a layer of festive sprinkles, then repeat the process with the remain ing layers. Once your last cupcake is crumbled, add green frosting and sprinkles, then top with an adorable Chick Peep. Tie a cute rib bon around the top of the jar to add the perfect touch to your Easter treat. *Please note that this recipe makes 3 (16-ounce) cupcake jars. If you would like to use smaller jars in stead and have more to share, use the 8-ounce jars.
