These burglaries all had similar circumstances where suspect(s) had entered the residences through windows and went through the residences stealing items of value. During these burglaries items such as currency, firearms, jewelry, and electronics had been stolen. During the investigation two suspects had been identified that had ties to Screven County and Savannah. Screven County investigators reached out to Savannah Police Department for assistance in locating one or both suspects. On October 3, 2022, officers from Savannah Police Department reported that during a string of burglaries earlier that day in Savannah, large number of items were stolen including an electronic item that the victim was able to track. Screven County Sheriff s Office coordinated with Sylvania Police Department and Georgia State Patrol and a probable cause traffic stop was performed on the vehicle on Halcyondale Road near Savannah Highway.
