The event is free and the community is invited to attend. In its fifth year, the theme of the summit is “Drugs and the Ripple Effect.” Investigator Reagan Clayton of the Carroll County Sheriff's Office - also the chairman of the coalition - said the event “offers much needed and valuable information regarding the effects of drugs and drug activity in our com munity, state and country.” The focus is on education, prevention, treatment and enforcement. Barge (Republican), Joe Martin (Democrat), and Kisa Griffiths Willis (Libertarian), were at least in general agreement in regard to several of the issues they were questioned about by a panel and the audience, but they disagreed about a few issues, and each made some sugges tions or complaints unique to them. These findings were made by the Environmental Protection Agency.
