Orginal piano scores and more at the
Carrollton Arts Center: “Visions”
On Friday, January 21 at 7:30 p.m. in
the Carrollton Arts Center Danny Mabry
Theatre, Aidaduo + Bruce Bobick (Italian
composer Stefano Vagnini, Italian opera
singer Giorgia Ragni, and local artist and
professor emeritus Bruce Bobick) will
present “Visions” music and art work on
stage, performance based upon art work in
the exhibition, “Bruce Bobick: New
Work, New Materials; Bryna Bobick:
New Materials, New Layers,” on display
in the Roush Family Gallery from January
7-February 10.
Original scores have been written and
will be performed on the piano by Mr.
Vagnini. Other original work will be sung
by Ms. Ragni. In addition, two original
performance pieces will be composed and
executed by the trio. One of the pieces,
based upon Bobick’s Litany XIII:
Lazarus, will use the audience as an inte
gral part of the performance.
Admission is $10 per person. Please
join us for an evening of both serious and
