Photo by Sam Gentry More arrests in tragic Mobley murder/robbery by Prissi Sullivan Early Wednesday afternoon June 26, 2013, four young black males entered Mobley Company Jewelers, Inc. on Highway 61, Villa Rica. The robbers began to break the display cases glass in and apparent “smash and grab.” Owner Mitch Mobley confronted the suspects and was shot and killed. According to Captain Keith Shaddix of the Villa Rica Police Department three of the perpetrators fled in a black vehicle, sup posedly head ing for 1-20. The fourth suspect fled on foot and was appre hended. See CCWA page 37 Georgia Legal Services Piedmont Regional Office Pro Bono Project is hosting an “Ask a Lawyer Day” event Friday, August 2, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Warren Sewell Library in Bremen. The intent of “Ask a Lawyer Day” is to offer Carroll and surrounding county residents free and brief advice on a variety of civil type legal issues. Such issues that can be addressed include: family, pro bate, bankruptcy, adoptions, land lord tenant and much more.
